Clearing Complex

Ideal for combination to oily skin, Clearing Complex utilizes a 5% glycolic acid and 2% salicylic acid aid in controlling oil, preventing infection and reducing the occurrence of acne blemishes. Glycolic acid penetrates through very superficial layers of skin to promote regeneration and help destroy bacteria, while salicylic acid helps normalize oil production and reduce the severity of acne blemishes for a healthy skin appearance and the prevention of acne scarring. Sun Protectant Lotion SPF 30 should be applied daily with the use of this product to help prevent premature aging and skin damage.
This product is part of our Clearifying Acne System regimen.
Contraindications: This product is not recommended for Fitzpatrick Skin Types V & VI. Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs. Topical cortisone cream and/or Post Peel Balm can be applied to assist in skin healing. If irritation persists, consult your doctor. First time users must build tolerance to the high percentage of glycolic acid in this serum. The use of glycolic acid will increase sun sensitivity and Sun Protectant must be used daily when client is using this product. We do not recommend this product to individuals using Accutane® (or other isotretinonin product), Retin A® or Renova®.
Home Use: Apply at night, do not use in conjunction with any moisturizers or other serums, and do not use in the morning. Application should be two to three times per week until tolerance is developed. Always wear Sun Protectant Lotion daily when using this product. On clean skin, apply two pumps of serum to the back of your hand. Using your fingers, take a small amount of gel on your finger tips and apply it to your facial skin, neck and/or décolleté.
